I specialize in design systems, branding, motion graphics,
photography, as well as experiential and exhibition design.
After graduating from California College of the Arts in
Spring of 2024, I've focused on pushing the bounds of graphic design
and its intersections with other art forms. Handcrafts have always
been a focus for me; although many designers may view the crafting
process as outdated and impractical, there is a lot of value in
returning to our roots and valuing how handmaking affects our field
of study and our practice. My most recent experimental project
involves graphic knitting– exploring the overlap between fashion,
textile design, and graphic design in a nuanced dialogue between the
past and the present.
I’m a writer at heart, and my love
for creating worlds, histories, and stories informs my design
process heavily. I try to uncover the poetics of a project and
thread a story through my art to create projects that are
meaningful, narrative, emotive, and thematic by nature. Design is
not only aesthetic, it’s an experience, and beneath each project is
a perspective depth that is bespoke to the topic and the medium.
